    Day 1

    Arrival at Bagdogra and Transfer to Phuentsholing
    Upon arrival at Bagdogra Airport, meet your representative and begin the scenic drive towards Bhutan. The journey passes through the lush tea gardens of North Bengal before reaching the Bhutanese border town of Phuentsholing.

    After immigration formalities, check in to Lotus Villa Hotel or similar and enjoy the remainder of the day at leisure.

    Driving Time: Approximately 4 hours (subject to traffic conditions)

    Phuentsholing to Thimphu
    After breakfast, travel through spectacular mountain scenery towards Thimphu, the capital city of Bhutan. The route offers beautiful views of waterfalls, forests, mountain valleys and traditional Bhutanese villages.

    Upon arrival, check in to Hotel Nordenma or similar and enjoy some free time to explore the city.

    Distance: 150 km
    Driving Time: 4–5 hours

    Meals: Breakfast, Dinner

    Thimphu Sightseeing and Transfer to Punakha
    Discover the cultural treasures of Bhutan's capital city.

    Highlights include:

    • Buddha Dordenma Statue
    • Takin Preserve
    • Zilukha Nunnery
    • Tashichho Dzong Viewpoint
    • Pangrizampa Drolma Lhakhang
    • Craft Bazaar

    After lunch, drive across the famous Dochula Pass (3,100 m) with its 108 memorial stupas and spectacular Himalayan views.

    Arrive in Punakha and check in to Hotel White Dragon or similar.

    Punakha Sightseeing and Transfer to Paro
    Explore the beautiful Punakha Valley.

    Highlights include:

    • Punakha Dzong
    • Longest Suspension Bridge in Bhutan
    • Chimi Lhakhang (Temple of Fertility)

    Following lunch, continue to Paro through picturesque mountain landscapes.

    Upon arrival, check in to Hotel Tshang Tshang Villa or similar.

    Tiger's Nest Monastery Hike
    Today's excursion takes you to Bhutan's most iconic landmark, the legendary Tiger's Nest Monastery (Taktsang).

    Perched dramatically on a cliff 900 metres above the Paro Valley, this sacred monastery is one of the most important pilgrimage sites in the Himalayan world.

    According to legend, Guru Padmasambhava arrived here on the back of a flying tigress and meditated in a cave, establishing Buddhism in Bhutan.

    Hiking Distance: Approximately 6.4 km
    Hiking Duration: 5–8 hours

    After returning from the hike, enjoy free time in Paro for relaxation or shopping.

  • Day 6

    Paro Sightseeing and Transfer to Phuentsholing
    Visit two of Bhutan's most significant cultural landmarks:

    • Kyichu Lhakhang – one of the oldest temples in Bhutan
    • National Museum of Bhutan

    After sightseeing, drive back to Phuentsholing and check in to Lotus Villa Hotel or similar.

    Phuentsholing to Bagdogra Departure
    After an early breakfast, transfer to Bagdogra Airport for your onward flight.

    Distance: 155 km
    Driving Time: 4–5 hours

    Important: We recommend booking afternoon or evening flights from Bagdogra to allow sufficient travel time from Bhutan.
